Introducing Microsoft Yammer, Teams and Planner
26 Jun 2017 by Rachel Regan
On July 6th, we will be launching Microsoft Yammer, Teams and Planner to all connected employees worldwide. This will help integrate our collaboration tools into the overall O365 landscape.
Yammer-
Share updates, discuss ideas and collaborate with larger groups internally across the organization & externally with partners/stakeholders. Work seamlessly across O365 and on mobile.
Microsoft Teams-
Helps close-knit teams to collaborate better in this chat based workspace. Bring your team’s conversations, meetings, files and notes together into a single place for seamless collaboration.
Office Planner-
Manage your tasks more effectively in this a hub for team members. Easily track and update tasks through interactive dashboards. Planner is integrated with Yammer and Teams to enhance productivity.
What will happen to Spice Social?
Starting July 6th, Yammer will be Schneider Electric’s new enterprise social networking platform, consequently we will move away from Spice Social.
Spice Social will be turned to “read-only” and the Spice Social mobile app will be disabled on July 31st. Spice Social will be decommissioned by the end of 2017.
What you need to do?
• Refer the user onboarding deck to help you get started and learn about the three platforms.
• Register for the training sessions and go through user guides to understand more about the platforms and its capabilities.
Note: Spice Employee Portal (SEP) which is the company’s intranet, will continue its journey and remain the profiled default landing site for all connected employees and it will be integrated with Yammer.
